I had seen patterns for Fibonacci scarves worked horizontally, but never one worker vertically, so I wrote of a pattern for one.
Vertical Fibonacci Scarf:
Leaving a long tail for fringe, ch 234 or any other Fibonacci number plus one with color 1.
row 1: Sc into second chain from hook. sc across. 233 stitches. Fasten off , leaving a long tail for fringe.
row 2: Join color two, leaving a long tail for fringe, sc across. Fasten off , leaving a long tail for fringe.
row 3: Join color three, leaving a long tail for fringe, sc across.
row 4: Sc across. Fasten off , leaving a long tail for fringe.
row 5: Join color four, leaving a long tail for fringe, sc across.
row 6: Sc across.
row 7: Sc across. Fasten off , leaving a long tail for fringe.
row 8: Join color five,leaving a long tail for fringe, sc across.
row 9: Sc across.
row 10: Sc across.
row 11: Sc across.
row 12: Sc across. Fasten off , leaving a long tail for fringe.
Finishing: add fringe in desired quantity and technique. Weave in any ends that are not fringe. Enjoy. :)
